Pause / Keep Wi-Fi Alive

Yeah, that's right, below is the world's most functional MP3. It's an 8 hour silent MP3. I use it for two reasons:

  1. My car radio always plays a track from the iPhone whenever it is plugged in. Sometimes I only want to hear the GPS and not music. I play the Pause track to simulate not playing music.
  2. If you play this (or any other) track, then shut off your phone, your iPhone's Wi-Fi will stay on because the phone does not fully sleep. This is very useful for keeping Skype running in the background to receive calls. Therefore this MP3 could save you tons of money by using your cell phone without a plan.

VideoPlayer

Plays media files accepted by built-in media player. Avoid iTunes, browse and play movies copied directly to the device. For OS 3.0 - 3.1.3 only. Not compatible with iOS 4.0. iOS 4 updates are unlikely to be soon. For iOS4 I either need to find a way to compile an xcode project using sdk 4.0.1 on a Windows box (that does not support hardware virtualization), or buy an actual Apple.
